When I owned my 1970 SS 396 L-78 Camaro I bought 15 X 7 inch Z-28 wheels and put on 245-60-15 tires. They will fit with no problem. I had 255-60-15 Goodyear tires on it, but it hit the wheel well in the front. They were OK in the rear. My present Camaro is the other BB that year, 1970 SS 396 L-34. But I have the original 14 X 7 inch argent color wheels on it. with 225-70-14 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. They are big for a 14 inch tire.

I’m running 235/60R 15s on my 74z28. Stock suspension and no rubbing issues.

    late to the party.
I run 235/60 all around on my 71. Roughly the same size as the factory F60-15
