Yes I believe they make it themselves. I think they might offer them on their website. Although, I asked him if it was something I can bolt on later and he said not really. Maybe he meant it wasn't something easy to install by just bolting it on.
Well, turns out MDL did install the short throw, their version. so, that is a good thing !

Got my TKX "kit" from Silver Sport last Wednesday. I have been sick and just unpacked it today. Very well packed and looks like I have everything I need except some offset bushings for the bell housing and a drive shaft. I plan on starting the install next Saturday, my son will be off work and would love to help the install.

If your bell dials out OK you will not need any offset dowls.... I redid mine 3 or 4 times as It was difficult to set up with what I had... Almost ordered another " holder" for my dial indicator.... Finally got a good read and didn't need any offset dowls...
Be patient when you check yours as its a very important part of the install.....

Nice. As soon as you get the trans mounted in, get the driveshaft measurement off to Gene so they can get one built for you. The shaft is a really nice piece.

Got my TKX kit from Silver Sport, awesome customer service. Had an issue with the shifter hitting the console, Shane fixed me up. I finished the install last week, wow, amazing trans. I got the close ratio with the .068 O.D. I need to take it on the freeway and get some numbers, then I will post them. My car is a 70 Z 4 speed with console and 3:73 gears. I think I should be around 2200-2500 rpm at 65.

Everything fits and works perfect. Re-wired backup lights to the switch on the trans, it came with the correct speedo gear, had the driveshaft shortened (46 1/4" center to center).

I have a four-post lift and a trans jack, so install was easy.

That shifter looks like it was born in there. And I like that shift plate with the 5 sp. pattern too. (and that AM/FM with the correct knobs) Yep, I'm jealous.
