One of the games greatest hitters passes of cancer. Never a big fan of the Padres but did admire Gwynn for his sportsmanship and abilities.

Very sad, I always loved hearing him talk baseball & hitting.

That sucks. What a great hitter and man. Might have hit .400 if they didn't strike back in 1994.
