The car did much better than I expected! Roughly 95 degrees out right now and was able to get a solid 5 runs in before having to head home.
Truly my first time taking this car out to the track to see what it would do.

First pass 2.023 60' 12.039 @ 116.27--they had me on a pro tree so I wasn't ready and then I let off at the 1000' mark.
Second pass 1.74 60' 11.489@118.12(no changes from first pass)
Third pass 1.604 60' 11.486@118.11 shifted myself this time
fourth pass 1.726 60' 11.455@118.86 shifted later, had some lean issues--my fault
fifth pass-- 1.660 60' 11.30@120.19 shifted later, less issues with being lean

I was fully expecting somewhere around 12.5 all day.

I'm happy with the 3900 pound(with me) car!
Video of last pass. After viewing I saw some light under the tire and I noticed I shifted wayyy early.

    Definitely addicted!

    th400 3500 stall 3.73s with 275/60-15 MT street pros
    jegs 290 heads
    sft cam 250/256 @ .050 .605/.620
2" headers with 3 inch exhaust xpipe set up
edelbrock EFI--still lean on top, so I think there was another .1 in it(after seeing it pick up .14 or so after richening it up and shifting early)

Hey that is great, always fun when you can race all day & get her home with zero issues!!!!

Next time gut the seats, and run without the doors, you will start flying :p

I'm betting that car would be in the 10's with more stall, great times.

You might be on to something. I have been thinking a higher stall might help. My th400 started flaring over the weekend between shifts(going to add fluid and over fill it slightly to see if it helps). If I have to pull the transmission I am going to up the stall to 4500.

If it wasn't a street car I would! I like my power windows/door locks and full interior :)
