Transverse muffler to rear end cover clearance

I was thinking that these images may be helpful to people considering running a transverse muffler with an aftermarket cast aliminum cover.

Mine was a bit tighter than that. Actually doesn't hit but took some doing to get it just exactly right. Couple pics. (need some cleaning and detailing under there)

My cover clears my Pypes transverse system and 7/8" sway bar with plenty of room to spare. Granted these pics are when the car is in the air, but even on the ground on all 4 wheels, there's still a lot of clearance.

Could you post an image of the rear tank strap? I an using a TanksInc tank and it looks like yours is stock. I would like to identify the cause of the huge difference in clearance between tom3/myself and your car. It could the front to rear positioning of the fuel tank.

Just got in from vacation today. Give me a day or so and I'll see if'n I can get a good angle of what you want to see.
