Hey Guys,

So, I spent some time with the car today getting ready for that show I'm going to this weekend (thanks again to those of you who shared some advice).

Normally, for my exterior routine I've always used the Meguiar's tan bottle dedicated products...not all the time but it consists of swirl remover, polish, hi-tech wax, etc. Recently, I had heard about Meguiar's "White Wax"...so ordered some on Wednesday, picked it up yesterday and called their number to learn a bit about what exactly this stuff was. Well, I laid it on today and HOLY SMOKES...I never thought I would get the results I did. I had a bit of oxidation, couple of spots here and there and needed some attention....you know, normal stuff for old paint. I did two passes with this stuff and the results are just amazing.

I like white, but admittedly was always a little jealous of you guys with color cars and the real shine and depth you can get...well, I'm not jealous anymore :p

Here is a link to some pics I took earlier today (pic #5 shows it well I think) ...these are after the first pass. I just went into the garage a few minutes ago and the car just looks wet...I can't get over the results I got from this stuff.

Looks great.

What did you apply it with? Machine or by hand?

Thanks David - I did it with a machine...small 6-inch buffer with a microfiber bonnet, and removed by hand.

Meguiar's Part # Please ??????

You have orbital buffer ???

What do you POLISH your car with ??? With what color pad ???

Thanks everyone!

Chuck - that part # is G6107....here is a link to it:

Yes - I just use a small 6 inch buffer...it's small but it makes it easy to do the hood ;)

For a polish, I use Meguair's #7 Show Car Glaze...here is a link to that:

BUT...I didn't use the polish at all in those pics...I just used the white wax...and those pics were just the first go around.

Neighbor drove by and said it's so bright it hurts your eyes to look at it :)
