Anyone ever hear of any Camaro's coming out without a trim tag? I certainly haven't, but that certainly doesn't mean it can't happen. The particular car I am looking at is a 79 Norwood car. Any thoughts??

All the Camaros originally had a trim tag. Some of them seem to get removed over the years for different reasons.
A lot of peopl remove them during restorations, painting of the car, or other reasons. I've never understood why.
They are best left in place so they don't get lost.

Once the original tag is lost, it can never be recreated unless you have a picture or tracing of it.

That's what I'm thinking. The only reasons that I can think of why that thing isn't there aren't good.

    not necessarily

as stated above, there are lots of goobers that take them off for various reasons

when the VIN is messed with, now THAT is trouble ....

there is a turd that lives out here that removed all of his trim tags from his cars so "no one would steal them" ... huh?

Gary S is right - a lot of stuff gets lost along the way and not always for some nefarious reason. But other than that - there is no way it made it down the assembly line without a trim tag...DANZ's right - can't happen:bowtie:
