Are the spoiler holes the same for short and tall on the trunk lid ?
No, the tall spoiler rolls toward the rear more
That's not what I was led to believe.
Thanks for the link, seems like only the outer holes may or may not be different.
Yep. That's my understanding also.
I found this true about a week ago myself. Was a bummer for me,too.
Ever notice how occasionally someones tall spoiler center doesn't cover the bottom of the trunk lid lip? I've seen that a couple times...bugs the hell outta me. Thats what popped in my head when I read the difference in opinion above.
So, maybe it changed a bit from car to car.
IIRC, I only had to drill the outer holes to fit the shorty to mine.
The outer edge holes are in a different place. You can leave all the inner holes and redrill the outers if you want.
Hole placement seems a little dicey in my opinion. I guess if you do any quarter replacement or working, you may have to tweak positions if you want a nice fit. Most Camaros I've seen have a spoiler that fits only "OK." I used the sticky on this site and found the holes to be pretty far off. So positioned spoiler first, then drilled holes where needed. Seems this works out better than drilling holes and fighting to get it just right.
What technique did you use to transfer the hole locations to the trunk lid?
