Trying to decode cowl tag

Hi all. I have an 81 z28 and I can’t understand the interior code. It doesn’t show up based on cowl tag info. Can you help? Wondering if I have the wrong cowl tag? Can you help? I included the vin and cowl tag. Thanks!

I've seen the 15V code before but I'm not totally sure of its meaning. Code 15 is silver, and I suspect V indicates some level of vinyl interior.

Hello. Im having a heck of a time trying to find this interior color. Its 51v. I was told its oyster and not silver. I've seen that color on silver anniversary trans am but not many z28s. Its a 81 and any parts catalogues ive looked at don't show it. Any thoughts?. Thanks

If you have the build sheet you can verify you have the correct cowl. You have it?

No. Don’t have the build sheet. Is it true that the factory put the build sheets under the rear seats?

I found two in mine. Rear seat and on top of the gas tank. Obviously the one from the rear seat is in better condition.

There's a very good possibility of multiple build sheets in a Van Nuys built car. ("L" on Trim Tag)

I found one under the driver's seat and a second one behind the rear seat.
They were often times found on top of the gas tank too.
(I've never dropped the tank on mine.)
