First off i got my txk installed. trans slid in pretty smoothly. went well for a one man job.
anyone have pics of the shifter body sittin the shifter hump ? the body of my shifter sits just higher than
what the hump will be and wondering if that is normal.

wanting to run a 1350 yoke. worried about it hitting. just back from the trans is a raised lip about where i think the yoke will be, anyone
know what kinda of clearance i need say from center of output shaft to floor? .

On the rear yoke do i have to have a yoke that has the factory style dust cap or what ever that ring is behind it?

also is there a good way to remove the inserts for the console mounts?

a lil bit off track...anyone know if acc will sell just the front carpet piece?

If it's a street car, I would run a dust cover rear yoke unless you need a super strong billet unit.
I bought a Sonnax slip yoke to convert to 1350 behind my T56, and never considered clearance. Curious about this now...

Did you take any measurements of the exact trans output location, engine rake in * and pinion/driveline angles before the installation?? , assuming it was a manual before.

This way, you will know what needs to be trimmed, massaged or cut out to get the same drive line angles you originally had. Seen this many times with OD 5-6 spds and larger race type yokes. They say it's a "bolt in" but these cars are not all the same with a large variances from car to car.

what cross member are you using ?it seems you are a little high, but I'm using my TKO as a reference had no problems with a 1350 in my 78 TA

regarding the photos of a TKX shifter sitting in the tunnel. Is this what you're looking for?
It is high, and very tight. This is in my 71 Camaro

I didn't. right now I'm 1 degree down on output shaft 4 up on rear axle. I'll have to measure what clearance I have now. I read a post of some else that had issues but don't remember where
