Ultrasonic Cleaning a Radiator

Has anyone had their automobile's radiator cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner? I have a radiator I took for repair yesterday and the radiator shop told me they use an ultrasonic cleaner to clean all the radiators. This was new information to me; I have not had any radiator work done in a long time.

that is a well equipped radiator shop...good on them.
ultrasonic cleaners are used pretty much on everything nowadays and whatever is cleaned using this method turns out amazing.

This particular radiator shop has been in business for 50 years and they have a good reputation.

unless the radiator is NEW ...you probably just get a new one.... I must say that ultra-sonic cleaning of most anything will certainly expose things you would not find otherwise!!!

If the price it right, I'd give it a shot. Most ultrasonic cleaners are just tubs of water/solvent with an oscillator on them. THat's not to say they don't work well. I use a little one to clean my glasses and pocket knife here and there.
