Under Car Primer Color

    Basically what I see is thats probably orange overspray in the picture on the floor. Vanuys was very sloppy with overspray.

    Here's another photo where you can see the exterior paint color in the inner fender and the red oxide color on the underbody. The two don't seem to match that well, and the underside is pretty evenly covered, unlike your typical overspray that I've seen. I remember this was an issue with the first gen cars, is it still the same with the second gens?

    These pictures are of my 03C vanuys I'm restoring. Basically done correctly as vanuys cars were made. Red oxide primer was never used and no Epoxy tank was present there in 1970. What you see is the orange paint overspray. If you look under the dash and hidden areas of the car you will not find any red oxide primer if the car was manufactured there.
