Looking for the clean no trim look so I took the upper door trim off the door to find the studs that retain the trim. Anyone have any advice or pics on best way to remove the door studs ? The trim I removed is the optional wide stainless.

They are called Nelson studs and are welded on, the only way to get rid of them is grind them back. You could use a sawzall to trim it down closer to the door skin then finish up with the grinder.
