Last week Friday I woke up to 30 degrees and everything covered with frost. Today, just a week later it is 105 degrees. When do we get some temps somewhere in the middle of all this?

    Record setting heat here yesterday.

90’s expected for the next few days too.

Dragging a hose around the yard and boycotting mowing until we get some rain.

Our place in Maine has already had several days above 90 which used to be unheard of. As a result of the warmer weather, we've also had a really bad algae problem the last several years.

Hit 90 in Northern Illinois today, I don't mind the heat, it's the humidity that gets me.

There will be some wicked storms to follow this heat I’m sure.
About 10 years ago we had a hella heat wave...over 100 with stupid amount of humidity with it. About a week and a half or 2 weeks of that hell.

I was supposed to do a roof this weekend for my mother in law.....between my lower back being totally f’d for the last week - I can’t even cough without pain. Literally if I cough or sneeze I get a shooting cramp in my right butt cheek all the way down to my knee. Like an extreme Charlie horse. Anyway between that and the extreme heat I decided no way in hell was I doing a roof this weekend.

Humidity??? Try Florida. I was a plant manager in a metallurgical engineering firm. Temp range up to 2000 F. I figured Florida would be a walk in the park. The humidity is overwhelming. From 9:00 AM til about 7:00 PM everyone stays in the house with the fans and A/C on. I lived where an exclusive golf course is. From late April until late October not many showed to play. Too damn hot and humid.
