Vibration at 60+

    tire pressures do make a diff especially with the over engineered 2nd Gen suspensions. I have to admit i get a vib while coasting down a hill, still working on this one. BTW tonights salad is getting parm cheese.

    I just fixed my vibration today. I installed 2" lowering rear springs a few months back. I never drove this car before the new springs, so I don't know if there was a vibration before that. So I measured my drive line angles last week and it didn't look good. Looking at the passenger side all angles were rising to the right or the front of the car. I had 2° at the diff, 2.4° shaft and 2° trans. I only had .4° of working angle. So I shimmed the trans mount 3/4" for 1° and shimmed the diff with 2° wedges pointing the pinion down. I now have a 2.8° working angle at the trans and a 3.8° at the diff. Vibration gone.
