    Hey fellas,
I need a reasonably priced LSx T56 for my 71.
    I've got an Ls1 (well, whole 99 Z) but it's auto.
Please PM me, as I've not been as active here.
Oh, other swap stuff would be appreciated too!
    Thanks!
    Mike

You’ll be much happier with a Magnum. You’ll wish you spent the money if you don’t.

Too rich for my blood, I probably won't do much more than intake and ca , so I don't need a monster slaying trans

Hi Dave! Been so busy her, only time to drive the POS, but I chanced upon this 99Z for a deal, and figured it's time!

Get'er done, then we can set up another SoCal meet. You can't bitch about the drive if I don't :).

    Ok, confession time...
I've had an Lt1 T56 for quite a few years. Last night it suddenly dawned on me that many folks put older transmissions behind LSx engines, the only fitment issue I know of (?) is that you need a longer or shallower pilot as the older input shaft is shorter...
So, if that's the case, can't I just treat my current T56 as an older trans and put it right behind the LS1? Dunno if starter location mucks that up though.
