If u are selling ur car watch out for this scam, 1st u with get a text with Barry Owens email asking if car is still for sale so u email yes, next comes this, Hello, this is Barry Owen.I am very interested in purchasing your
vehicle.I just relocated to Mississauga,Canada from Washington DC
alone.I am a doctor by profession,I am creating time from no time to
reply via email just to make sure this transaction is completed
successfully. I have a very tight schedule round the clock so I will
be buying the vehicle without showing up in person.Does the vehicle
have any loan attached to it? Has the vehicle been insured?.I will
also like you to brief me on the repair history of the vehicle,If it
has had any major damage that you repaired or haven't repaired
yet.Whats the vehicle's current mileage? Kindly provide me with the
VIN of the vehicle so I can run a check on the vehicle. Also send me
additional pictures of the vehicle.Once I'm satisfied with all the
information you will provide me and I am well informed on the
vehicle's condition I will then pay the agreed vehicle amount in cash
using Travelex home delivery cash order. Travelex is a cash order
service, they will deliver the cash to your door step. You will provide
me with the information I will list later in this email so Travalex
will be able to deliver the cash to your home address.I will take care
of the shipping so that wont be a problem.I will like you to also sign
the title of the vehicle,my mover will assist me with signing the
title on my behalf,he has legal documents that qualify him to stand as
the buyer. I will need the following information from you to make the
    Travelex home delivery cash order

    Your Full Name:
    Cash order Delivery address:
Your Vehicle Price in US Dollars:
    Zip code for pickup:
    Telephone Number:

How could you distrust someone named "Barry"?

I guess that's how they weed out the highly gullible. :)

Anytime they refer to "the vehicle" without any specifics, it's a dead giveaway.

If people were not still falling for it, the 419 scam would die.......

Its 35+ years running since the Nigerian/419 Fax scam started it all......
