L88 drop base air cleaner base is the key
That one fits beautiful !! And a simple fix to get it to fit, nice!!
I had a Holley on it before the Fitech and it fit as well
How close was it? Or did you have to use the drop flange to make both fit?
The drop base is the only way I could get either to fit.
I had a Torker on before and now I have a Street Master on it. Both needed the drop base.
That does fit nice. Booster, AC Delete, Wiper Motor looks OK.
I just looked at a friends 69 Nova with a newly installed BBC. It has the big Brodix Heads and it's a very tight fit. He had to remove the wiper motor to get the valve covers to fit. There's also almost no clearance between the manifold in some places. It does look a big hunk of engine. Tough decision. I may have to get out to a few more car shows and see a few again. Appreciate the replies.
Here is mine. 572 dart big m block Same as any mark iv big block. It was tight. Headers, spark plug wires, wiper motor, booster. I got rid of the wipers, I don’t drive it in the rain lol
It also looks like the smaller booster on there , is the hood flat? Damn that is another big engine squished into place, looks great!!
Yeah had to go with the smaller booster for valve cover clearance. It’s a 2” cowl hood with a drop base for the FI Tech. It’s tight but everything fits.
