No, not that one. My Acura TL. Bought new, owned it 14 years. I thinned the herd for a while. I'm driving my daughter's TSX while she's at school this year. Maybe pick something up next year, but for now, I'll just enjoy being able to get all the cars in the garage & driveway again, and the insurance rate drop (crikey, kids make this ridiculous). I had a few tire kickers, but the guy that bought it texted me Friday night, came over Saturday morning and drove it 5min, went to his house and came back with cash 20 min later. I'm having more trouble turning in the damn plates with the DMV than I did selling it.
I certainly hear you with the hard issue. I have 8 vehicles in my driveway at any given time. Both boys have trucks, one of their girlfriends lives with us, she has a car.mits musical chairs in the driveway whenever I want to get something out of the garage.
I'm interested in thinning my herd too. 6 vehicles for 2 drivers is a little too much. Anyone one want to buy an '81 C10 for a very reasonable price?
same boat here wife and I have 2 tacomas, a pontiac vibe, 2 chevelles and the camaro. Vibe 30+mpg is my daily driver. jim
I don't sell cars....i kill them and have them drug off!!..... exception!!!!...I did SELL my 94 k1400 when it had 282,000 miles...back in 2005 (5.7 with a 5 speed....clutch had 240,000 miles and could still chirp 3rd.. )
Yeah, I don't recall ever selling a car I own. Gave a couple away. Sold my mom's for her. I think that's it ...
My God......I saw the title of this thread and thought the worst had happened........but an Acura?....No Big Deal buddy......
I am still thinking on the Z28, but my youngest (9) is lobbying hard to keep it. The older two (19 & 16) didn't care, but I let my 16yo drive it last week (with me), so now he's into it also. We're headed out tomorrow for more clutch lessons. Maybe you could get a used building from VW- LOL I sold the car, a 2006 that I bought new, with 130,228 on the clock. At that pace, it would have taken me nearly 31 years to get to 282k. We live close to virtually everything we do, so the miles rack up slowly. My son's Pilot does have 266k on it now, but that was given to us at 258k last August, so that doesn't really count. We're shooting for 300k minimum, though.
