Yes those are self aligning rockers. Here’s a couple of pics of a stamped self aligning rocker & a Comp Cams self aligning rocker. I did enlarge the push rod holes on the head to 9/16.

Just went and bought 10 gals. of 93 octane then went for a 10 minute drive and no more ping. Only other change I did was a metering rod. I was wrong in assuming since my compression wasn’t to high I could use regular gas.

Perfect! You can probably still run regular by retarding the timing a bit but you'd also give up some power.
Glad you found a simple cure to your pinging issue. Just use the 93 octane from now on. Perhaps 1 step colder plug and a cold air induction project might pay dividends.

Sometimes you can get bad gas from the station also. For my Camaro, I like to go to gas station that are always busy and I avoid gas stations with adjacent carwash when I can.
In my opinion, the acceptable level of ping is NONE.
My 70SS came from the factory with 10.25 compression. I always ran leaded premium and never had any ping. Once leaded premium was no longer available, I ran unleaded premium with some lead additive that raises the octane by adding the lead. This engine never did ping with a tankful of high octane gas.
