What are bare early double hump heads worth?

A local guy has several sets for sale he just wants the room and just wants a fair offer. Most are 327 corvette heads but there's 2 sets of 1967 Z28 302 heads in there too. Just want to give the guy an offer that's fair for both parties. Just say price per head.

The only real value in those heads would be if someone is doing a date correct restoration and a couple of these heads matched. Otherwise, they're just outdated pieces of cast iron. IMHO

Wow really? Didn't seem like that long ago guys were tripping over themselves to give $200 and up for a bare set of these. Ok I'll keep that in mind.

Are the latter ones used in the LT1 worth anything then? Like the 492 or 186 heads?

The date correct 302 heads for a 67 could be worth as much as a grand to the right guy. Especially if they are big valves and the valves aren't sunk or cracked. You may sit on them awhile.

Try asking over at yenko.net. Much more interest and eyeballs there for this kind of thing.

IMHO what is a used toilet paper roll worth...You might get a buyer if you value add to these but even then you more than likely be sitting on them for a long time.

these are the parts the hoarders kept too long. buddy has a 67 camaro and wanted a period correct set. I gave him a set to get them out of my shed. otherwise not worth putting $$$ into them
