I bought one last year for my car with a 4 year free replacement/100 month prorated warranty and now I need a new battery for her car and my truck and I go to Sears site and the only platinums they sell now are top posts only with 3 year free replacements. What gives?
Am I already going to have to find a new AGM battery brand to go with?

Who knows of any good AGM batteries that offer a 4 year full warranty or longer? And dont say Optima. Theyre garbage now.

I checked their website and the only Platinum battery I saw was a marine battery. Everything else was a Gold or a cheaper version.

A local guy told me he bought one of the last Diehard platinums he could find for his truck, because he thought they were being discontinued? I think Advance Auto parts most expensive line of batteries are AGMs (Autocraft platinum). It looks like they are 3 yr free replacement though, not 4.

Exide has a 4 year battery but I was wanting dual terminals for the truck maybe especially if I decided to add a second battery later on. Dont think exide makes a dual terminal AGM battery other than their northstar line and thats damn near $300 for one battery

Alright I will ask the dumb question. Why would you want to add a second battery? I mean my diesel has two but takes a ton of power to crank that big motor with uber high compression and then has intake air heaters and all kinds of other big amperage draws until the motor starts to warm up.

That website says 3 yr. I have never used one but have heard about these Deka AGMs.
