I'm trying to figure out if I'm a cheap bastard or not. I generally tip well in a restaurant but I'm not sure what the "right" amount is for delivery.
What is a good tip for the pizza delivery guy?

My guys get a little they average between $3 to $10 and sometimes even more depending how drunk they are

When we used to have them delivered I would tip 5 bucks. The place we go to now has no delivery, so I have to pick up. Sal if you can deliver I will tip 10 bucks. lol

Well were I live there is an upcharge for the delivery "assuming the delivery person gets some of that". I do tip the restaurant rate.

Ive been picking my own pizza up for 5 years lol. its like 5 minutes down road, bought one of these bad boys. Its paid itself off in gold, I used to live in the country and they didnt deliver, but now I live in town and still go to store and pick up, i just put the pizza in the bag in my car. stays hot and fresh.

When I lived a bit south of where I do now, it was a 40 minute round trip to pick up a pizza. one of these may have paid off. other wise a $15.00 pizza cost me $30.00 to have it delivered.
