Gotta love all the judgement we get off a simple question LOL. We generally pick it up, but the hand full of times we have it delivered I have given them $10. I wanted to make sure the guy got a good tip tonight given he had to work on Christmas eve so he got significantly more. I wanted to see if I was in the ball park with the norm and that's why I asked.

Ive been picking my own pizza up for 5 years lol. its like 5 minutes down road, bought one of these bad boys. Its paid itself off in gold, I used to live in the country and they didnt deliver, but now I live in town and still go to store and pick up, i just put the pizza in the bag in my car. stays hot and fresh.

Lmao, seriously, now I've seen it all. Do you put the pizza in the carrier at the front counter, or do you at least wait until you get to the car?

I can see it on Christmas, but a $10 tip for an $18 pizza? I'm getting a job delivering pizzas!

i normally cant afford delivery but when i do, i base the tip on quite a few things, time of delivery, out here they sometimes will call you before arriving to verify address, order, ect, and the biggest thing-presentation, if they come to the door with a neat appearance, at most a 5 oclock shadow or well groomed beard, well cared for hair, decent car, and say along the lines of good --- sir your pizza (as they show it) they may get a little more,

now if they come to the door tattood up, nose ring hangin out, man bun all greasy (man buns normally disqualify anyone from getting a tip in my book, i normally have the urge to go old school samuri, dishonoring their whole family by cutting the man bun off), have a car/truck that gets 5 mpg, shoving the closed pizza box in my face going your total is $--- while looking like they are just tryin to get by and content that then they arnt gonna get much if anything.

I'll give a tip, don't fry bacon in the nude. Seriously, it depends on how difficult it is to deliver. If it's a short trip, a $4-5 tip is fine. If there's a driving snow storm outside with lots of ice, maybe $20 is better.
