Im getting ready to do some upgrades to my 79 Z28, and was wanting to swap in a manual. Yet i have zero idea what trans would bolt onto the 350 without needing to modify anything?
What Manual Trans will fit in a 350 smallblock?

Well, any of the classic 4 speeds would, or a tremec TKO, TKR or T56. i guess it depends on how much you want to spend and how you will use the car.

The manual transmission that was available in the '79 Z28 was the Borg Warner Super T10. You can also use a Muncie. AutoGear makes a very strong 4 speed, and you can order the gear ratios that you want.
