Mufflers permitting, dual 2.5" ( mandrel-bent, of course ) will support 520 HP with NO restriction. 3" is just loud, drawing cops.
well im estimating my 455 to be in the 500-550hp range
so with the muffler aka(restriction) i should probably go with 3 inch

And for the record, there is a pair of pre-cats, a pair of mufflers and a pair of resonators under my wife's CTS-V Sportwagon.
