Six Flags is going to suck next week. It's the last week before a lot of GA schools start back.

Some good ideas have been suggested. The GA Aquarium and World of Coke are side-by-side....and the new Mercedes Benz dome, CNN Center and some other attractions are within a couplen of blocks as well. Stone Mountain...make sure you catch the laser show and ride on the railroad.

Zoo Atlanta is pretty neat. Skyview ferris wheel (20 stories tall) in Centennial Park is a couple of blocks from the Aquarium, would be fun with the girls too. Not sure how much free time you'll have or what side of town you're staying on, but Lake Lanier Islands is a huge water park on Lake Lanier which is about an hour from downtown Atlanta.

We'll be with the troop most of the week. If my son and I can sneak away, we'll check out the places you've mentioned. They sound like a lot of fun.

And if you are there on a weekend, well any night actually, check out the night life in Buckhead, tons of fun, and great restaurants , and it can't hurt to pack while you are there, some areas are just like Memphis, stay alert!!
