    Sorry guys for another wheel and tire question.. Based on all the reading I have done on this wonderful forum I believe I have the correct fit but I wanted to validate with you guys first.. Here is what I'm thinking for my 76 (brought new in 1976 :))... I want to ensure there are no clearance issues, so if needed I can go down smaller.. But I would love to stick with 17 inch rims...

    17 X8w 4.5 back space - Tires 245 / 45 ZR 17 Front
    I'm a newbie so i had to do the conversion..
    245 = 9.64 inches wide
    45 = 4.33 inches high

    17x9.5 w 5.5 back space - Tires 285 / 40 ZR 17 Rear
    285 = 11.22 inches wide
    40 = 4.48 inches high

    Thanks in advance! Jack

    It depends on your well offset. I run a 17 x 8 wide rims "Torque thrust II`s in stock wheel wells all away around You can always check with your local tire shop to make sure. 130044932860518017_26257430996_o (1).jpg
