Where are you mounting your coil packs?

    Cuz he has some sbc ones with custom company logos on them and he wants to use them....not because he is trying to make it look like a different engine.

    I have a 71 Camaro and a stock car with LSx engines. I moved the coils off the valve covers for convenience so I could check valve lash and springs more easily. The Camaro has the round truck coils behind the cylinder heads. It was tricky to do because they are bigger coils. For the stock car I used mounts and harness extensions from Michigan Motorsports using the flat LS3 coils. I mounted them to aluminum plates that attach to the motor mount bolts. The Camaro has the black valve covers, the stock car are red.

    Thanks Bill.

    I was worried that mounting using the motor mount bolts would get them too close to the headers. I was thinking about the back of the heads.
