Hi Folks and Merry Christmas to everyone. I have another question.
I have several plastic clips and am unsure of where they go. I'm thinking the they go under the "Style Trim" chrome on the top of the doors. However, the chrome trim has already been installed.
So, I am open to all suggestions and thank you in advance for your advice.
    Best Regards,

Yes, those look like "beltline molding" clips to me. Same part as "style trim" I assume.

    Yes.
Those are the clips which hold the trim at the top edge of the doors.
    (Z21 trim option)

They slide over the studs welded to the door skins and the trim snaps over them.

    Thank you!
Hmm..I wonder how the shop mounted the new upper "style trim" without these? I wonder if the new "style trim" pieces came with clips? Anyone know?

Also, the clips seem to have different heights. Do they have specific locations?

The repop ones are too big and have to be measured and sanded down 10 or so thousands in order for the trim to fit over them. (Shoutout to NZ28 member bordog for educating me on that tidbit) And even then they are a somb!tch to put on without scraping the new paint off. It i ever paint my car again I will be deleting that z21 option and cutting off the studs they lock onto.

Maybe your hood had belt molding?

I have a cowl hood so factory trim won't fit that. Its the clips on the top of doors and door molding that is the issue. The hood and fender tips don't use those clips.

Some of them look like they could be from a vinyl roof molding.
