Which one (new car) do I get ?!?

    I would get the VW, it is a higher quality car - and this is coming from a hardcore domestic guy.:eek:

    Chevy Malibu "Program" car. They're just off lease and the 1st years depriciation was eaten by someone else. Most have 20,000 or less miles.

    The Malibu is solid, quiet, runs strong, drives nice, rides nice too.
    You might be able buy the Impala for about the same money, and they are even nicer.

    VW's are known for electrical issues. The TDI diesel does gets great mileage.

    I drove a fusion, COMFORT.
    VW I think is sportier feeling.
    but.. that new fusion is loaded atleast the one I was in.

    Buying your children cars is generally a bad idea.
    I'd buy something used and save 30-50%.

    I like them both. The Fusion(Mondeo) looks better, the Golf is a sportier drive. I like VW Golf seats, can drive for hours no problema, Ford seats are a notch below.

    No it wasn't. But spending $25,000 on a car that's worth $18,000 once you drive it home is no fun either.
    Get one for $12,000 that's a year old an still in warranty.
