    We have no vehicle inspections here that I know of,the tags expired in January so I guess the cops don't patrol that area much,lol...:rolleyes:

    Yep no vehicle inspection at all and no smog testing for 1975 or older !!!!! :)

    If I could get my hands on his "moronathon", I would love to have it. Back in the day, they played the original videos he spoofed - followed by his version. I sat up and watched it all night. I was crying at his Amish Paradise video.

    This much I know but that thing is later than 1975. John says no inspections? I can understand that different counties in the same state could have different rules as here in my county in NY, no emmisions but safety while the next county over has safety and emmisions. But you're saying in North CA, no insepections? Not even a basic safety inspect?

    No vehicle safety inspections required in Calif period !!

    I walk the streets everyday and the stuff that falls off cars here due to zero maintenance would amaze you,besides the screaming sounds some make,lol! :eek:

    I see disc brake pads wore down to metal,clutch parts and all kinds of fasteners...scares you when you really think about it.:rolleyes:

    Inspections in NY are a joke anyway. You can't fail a loose ball joint, broken or missing side marker lenses, a dead third brake light if it's a truck or van, headlight aim.... the list goes on. People bitch and the state relaxes the regulations..... but God forbid your check engine light is on.

    You'd be surprised at the junk I've seen in the last 30 years roll thru the door with a new sticker on the window.

    But you do have horrible emissions inspections. We have nothing here, it's every man for himself out here.
