I'm trying to find someone I can trust to do rear end work. I'm in Atlanta. I'm needing someone to do such work as straighten a housing and weld the tubes. Also, weld taper bearing housing ends on among other mods. I may need them to build a 9 inch for me but I'm still looking into that. Thanks
Certainly there's a decent shop around ATL. Most guys in N GA around Chattanooga TN use Hudlow in Rossville, GA.
Thanks Corky. I would hope so, too. I'm just not sure of what type of shop to even look for. Not only that but who's trustworthy and won't look at me like I'm dumb because I want to build a 10bolt. That happens more than I can tolerate.
A properly built 10 bolt will hold up better than most people will think. I've heard about Hudlow as well. You might head out to the drag strip and ask some of the people that have narrowed rear ends where they had them done at. You might also want to call Vengeance Racing over in Ackworth and see if they do their rear ends in house or if they farm them out.
Thats Acworth that is were I am and looking for a gear man my self ,,, will know more later ,, you can call southern gear on atl. road and ask them .Going up to Pardice drag stripe Sunday will ask around .
