Who runs subs in their daily drivers?

I have a garage sale special in my '04 Vibe right now.

The amp I have is an old Alpine 3527 rated at 25 x 4 RMS. I have it bridged to Bose sub box that's from a home audio system. $10 at a garage sale. It takes up nearly no room (6" x 15" footprint) and sounds just fine.

DSM series? I have two of those. One Punch 100 and a 200. I bought the Punch 100 brand new in 1992 for ~$400. The 200 I picked up off an online auction site about 2 yrs ago for ~ $150. All my friends thought I was crazy paying that for a used amp until they heard it in my wife's old MX6 pushing to 12" Kicker Comps

Best damn amps ever made IMO.

Those two amps will probably end up in the '71. Should help loosen all the rust.

 

I have 2 JL AUDIO 10W7 10" w6v2 W7's, but I havent installed them yet

 

Got a 10" alpine sub and a kenwood 700 watt amp in my x-tra cab gmc.

 

Yeah, its a DSM. I bought the Punch 40 when it was new and I got my 100 about 2 yrs ago off ebay for 150.

Forget the make of the sub, but have a 1400 watt sub and two 12" MTX subs in the trunk of my Geo Storm GSi

I run subs in everything, If you balance it out right they give you the low end you need to enjoy a wide sound range. Countin down the days till i can find a way to get the camaro back on the road, stupid emissions. This summer i hope to have her down at Carlisle Pa. but, getting sidetracked. i love subs

 

2 Cerwin Vega 12" in a tuned ported box. Punch 500 with Phenix Gold 4 gauge wires and a Punch 1/2 farad cap. ANYthing jams in this ride. I sometimes ride through parking lots to see how many car alarms I can set off.

 

Me too!! Plus all those speakers add weight and slow ya down

 

I have a mechanical cammed 468 pumpin' out thru some 2" primary, 3 1/2" collector super comps then continuing on thru 3" Flowmasters and exiting thru 3" chrome tips. Pretty much the best sound system out there IMO
