I decided to go for a walk in the nice weather got going looked down and there was nice crispy $50 bill laying on the ground. Picked it up and decided to spend $2 on a lottery ticket today.
^^^^^ Sweet, before the pandemic, buddy of mine in the city would take his morning walk around dawn,he'd always check a couple of night club parking lots on his route, was amazing the bills he would find there,or blown against the fence!! Guess guys/gals puling out car keys at closing time and other things slip out with the keys!! Later Steve!!!
Should have seen my wife's face, it was priceless as all she finds are quarters, dimes and nickels. She does find a lot of pennies though, lol.
I remember when I was big enough to wear my dad's jacket, the first time I put it on I thought "why the hell is this thing so heavy?" The pockets had about 4 pounds worth of change. He walked to work every day of his life and picked up change along the way. Of course...now I do the same.
I pick up anything shiny. Besides change and the occasional piece of jewelry... I have collected a bunch of oddball nuts, screws, bolts and washers.
