If you have the door open and are standing at the inside of it, look straight down and to the left and right. At each side you will see two bolts spaced about 3" apart. Loosen them and push them towards the rolled down window. Be Careful not to hit the window. You may want to use a flat head screwdriver to pry the metal piece that these bolts are attached to inside the door the way you want it. Bolts are circled in photo. The same bolts appear at the other end of the door.

adjustments

I have already adjusted at that spot. Im wondering if I need to raise my up stops. These are doors that I converted to electric and I put my up stops back where the old marks were.

Is the window 1. Too low or 2. high enough but tilted out?

For 1. you need to raise the upper stops (3&4 in the diagram). Chaning from manual to electric shouldn't make any difference to this setting.

For 2. it's as 71cmro says, loosen 5&6 and move them towards the outside of the car, this will tip the top of the window in. Be careful when closing the door after this one, as if you've gone too far the window may hit the frame.

Is the gap even all the way across. The adjustment bolt near the center of the door that slides straight up and down controls the tilt of the window if this is your problem.
Best I can say is that it WILL fit. It just takes a ton of patience and also a ton of time. When you make adjustments only make 1 at a time so you can see what happened before making the next.

Without being there it's hard to tell you what to adjust. There is no Silver Bullet adjustment that I can tell you or I would. It's just something that you will need to tweak on your own until it fits like you want it to. Do your homework and make sure you know what all the adjustments do and like I said only do one at a time. Never adjust two or three bolts at the same time ever unless you know what you are doing. Takes a lot of trial and error but that is how I learned. Not many shortcuts here. Good Luck!

Man, I'm glad this was posted. After installing my doors and spending HOURS getting all my gaps lined up I found out yesterday that when I open or close my drivers side door, with the window up, the window just nicks the front lower part of the drip rail. I thought I would have to move the whole door. So I can just adjust the window for this?
