    Recently I've having a problem that I dont know how I caused.

    When I go to any file in "My Pictures" and select any picture
    I USED to be able to Right Click and then click OPEN !!!!

    Now when I right click my mouse I only have word EDIT at top
    of a list.....The EDIT open the picture in PAINT

    Can you comprehend what Im trying to write and instruct
    me how to get back to what I had before....

    Thanks, Chuck

    You mean "Pictures" don't you? I looked in mine, even added some and I have the full menu. What is the path name to your "Pictures?"

    By the way, you can search for the problem in your context menu. Read how here.

    Tom3, When I double Click ANY picture it opens in PAINT.......not the normal "OPEN" screen

    Somehow I did "something" to change my set up

    COPO. Another inappropriate response from you....Nothing wrong with WIN10 !!!!

    Try right clicking on the Pictures icon and then Restore Defaults.

    Take a look in the registry...
    1) Click the Windows icon
    2) Type regedit
    3) Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers\Open With
    4) There should be a string value (Default) of {09799AFB-AD67-11d1-ABCD-00C04FC30936}

    This puts Open at the top of the menu. Dunno why yours is gone, but you should always backup with Acronis and windows backup every so often. I also use DesktopOK to keep the icon placement remembered in case windows or some other program resets them.
