For a 71, is windshield trim different when there is a vinyl top vs a painted roof?

Back in 1986, I really screwed up the trim when I removed it and had to be replaced. The owner of the shop that did the body and paint work got a replacement set and told me there was a difference

Well, at least some of the trim is different for 70-73 cars with a vinyl roof vs. hard top. Rear glass and drip rails as far as I know. Windshield? That's a good question.
I think there was someone recently looking for trim for a vinyl car and there were a few suggestions on where to buy some.
I believe the trim is wider on cars with a vinyl top and the drip rails stick out farther to accommodate the vinyl material.
Hopefully, someone with a vinyl top car will know the answer and can post some pics to show the difference if there is one.

The lower covers the entire edge ( needed to cover the raw edge of the vinyl roof ) of the C pillar the upper doesn’t .

I don't believe there is any difference in the windshield and back window moldings between a vinyl top and non vinyl top. I searched a long while for the moldings for my car and no where did I see any listed for vinyl tops only. Plus, my car used to have a vinyl top but it was removed long ago. The trim was never removed and remnants of the old top were still on the sills and with no top the trim doesn't stick out or leave any gap. I had to replace mine because it was damaged from being hauled. The wind caught the top pieces and jacked them all up.

I believe the trim is the same, but the trim clips are a bit taller on the vinyl top cars.

I held my OEM trim clips against some I removed from my parts car that didn't have a vinyl top and they look the same. Both are 71s.

Chuck, I found the trim. The lh piece has a good gouge from the wiper going over it. The rh piece is pretty decent though.
