I use Hastings filters because the store 1/2 mile from my house sells that brand. However, the last time I picked up some, their most recent shipment were Baldwin filters so I took some of them.
Baldwin Hastings is a single company located in Kearney, Nebraska and I believe all their filters are still made there.

The other brands aren't so easy to track down where they are made.

Broke in my new 427sbc using a Wix racing oil filter . And after that have been using Moroso oil filters and their pre screen filters since then

The oil has been changed 4x's in the 2 years since the engine was installed and only 500 miles on it . The oil is clean and nothing showing in the pre filter either . Oil pressure is awesome with 85lbs max oil pressure and 50lbs warm idle

Has anyone ever tried a Mahle/Clevite OC114 oil filter. Rock Auto lists them for a 350 Chevy. Made in Germany, has to be better than made in China?
Yes, just installed one. Did only 30 miles so far.
Not sure where it is made, have to check if I still have the box.
