For what ever it's worth, my Napa rep told me that Wix has just told him everything is now coming from China. We are having a hell of a time getting some of the numbers at this point.

I’m not sure if any amsoil guys here, recently cut open my oem and amsoil filter and was surprised how much nicer the amsoil was.

I’ve made the move, everything amsoil oil in my vehicles now. Signature series

I think Amsoil subcontracts their Oil filters to Hastings. They used to, but it's been awhile

Dave, I've noticed recently that the Wix filters we use at the shop (they're the "Carquest Red" series) are no longer USA made.

A few months ago I noticed we were getting in wix filters that are made in China. They haven’t totally killed the us plant - yet - as the boxes are now marked “see product for country of origin” Which are mostly Chinese but have seen some USA...

I just checked both filters I bought a couple weeks ago based on all these replies. Both are still USA. They are for a Ford 3.0 and GM 350 but both of those are fairly high use so I would think if all mfg was moving out of the US they would have run out of them by now.
