Hell ya carhead22000 !!! that would be great and nice of you sir.
First time I tried chow chow was in Cheticamp, last minute "bucket list" trip to the Cabot Trail to celebrate our 25th. Wife and I sat with a nice couple that were doing the same trip (counter clockwise) as us on their HD bikes. Not much room at the restaurant, so we shared a table. They ordered first, "fresh fish cakes, chow chow and green peas" WTF is that I said, they laughed and he said it's an Eastern/Cape Breton thing, tomato's don't get to red, try it...so we did, loved it. Fish cakes were awesome, and I love seafood.
Chatted the whole time, they were from Nova Scotia, and like everyone else out there...super nice and so laid back. One of THE best trips we have ever took.... Watched the sun set at Peggy's Cove on our anniversary night...wow, just beautiful.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble...if you post it, that would be nice carhead22000

Thanks carhead22000, much appreciated.
if you ever get back to the cape.let me know..make sure its lobster or crab season.we will tilt a few.
I passed through Peggy's Cove one year when I was driving from Calgary to St. John's over on the rock for school. It's amazingly beautiful countryside there. I'd love to get back there with my family, let my daughter's see it.
