Work shop.

I was told by a contractor friend of mine that he would have quoted around 4500 to build the loft. I have just over 500 in materials and did it all myself. Was not to difficult. I love building stuff

How to you persuade the wife to build this glorious temple?!

Looks great!...I'm bookmarking this for 15 years down the road...I'm going to have to stop buying cars for a few years and save for something like this!

Lookin' great Michael! I remember when mine was all nice and fresh and new. My Wife and I never had a garage before, just a ramshackle sort of old one car/shed thing. We looked at, all empty and clean, and thought we would NEVER fill it up. 3 years later I built another one car garage just for lawn equipment and outdoor tools. Now thats filled too! The more space you have, the more stuff you will find to put in it.

Allen, I will tell you this, I have no idea. Lol. To be honest when she saw how much room was needed to restore the camaro, she was ok with building it. We already had some money saved so we saved for another yr and started building. I built as big as I could go and with the budget I had. Thanks for the compliments.

OK guys, I am building a shop in my back yard. It will be 36x26 I would go bigger, but dont have the room. I will have a partial loft, 10 ft walls and 14 ft peak. I want to see your shops in and out for ideas. please post pics
i was here to get the same idea about 10ft walls and 14 ft peak, can you share some photos of your work shop???
