WTB 70 L-34 (With A/C) A.I.R. Exhaust Manifold Tubes

Hello,

I’m looking for a set of 70 L-34 (With A/C), A.I.R. Exhaust manifold tubes. I know they are very hard to find, but thought I’d see if anyone has a set for sale….any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not trying to be a know it all, but I have a 1970 L34 Camaro, and it does not have smog tubes.

My L-34 was built in Van Nuys, and unfortunately they had smog pumps thanks to California law…I wish it didn’t! Is yours a Norwood car?

I'm agreeing with THNDER. The solid lifter L78 motor recieved smog pumps. Hydraulic lifter L34 didn't get those. Even California built L34 camaros.

My L34 has what I believe to be the original exhaust manifolds, and they have the air tube openings. The openings were plugged years ago, and any other smog equipment is long gone. I would definitely like to find more info on it..thanks.

Do you have a original build sheet for you car? Vanuys built camaros usually have them.. I believe block 41 has the answer for the smog system if it was built with it. Also could you post a picture of the drivers side front area of the manifold. 1970 left exhaust manifolds are 1 year only and have a flat pad on them as in the picture.

Your manifold is a correct 70 smog manifold. What is the date cast on it on the reverse side? What is the Build date on the trim tag? Here is my L78 build block 41. it has Air typed in it to build the car with a air pump system. yours has L34 in it.

The cast date on my manifold is March 16th, and the build date is the 5th week of June. I see AIR in block 41 on your build sheet, and that it’s also a Van Nuys car. I would think my L34 would have had the same information, if it had factory smog equipment. But the AIR manifolds are original to my car. Kind of a head scratcher…What is the build date of your L78?
