Just be aware that the bushings would be worn besides the shaft giving you 4* or more of erratic slop. It will need to be bushed and drilled to spec if you can find a place to do it. My housing was worn and the shaft had some wear, so I put the # matching housing on a shelf in ‘85 and bought a brand new GM unstamped housing from GM Parts. Works well.

I appreciate the concern and advice. I have a local guy who goes through every distributor before I drop it in. He "tunes" them as well. I'm fortunate enough to have some talented old guys still doing this stuff locally.
Note: I bought a box full of NOS Delco points and he threw out the set I gave him. "Junk", he said. 🤣

Here is one, but the date though would be a real push for a May car. My early April car had this date and there are other known early April cars with this date.

you can trust this guy. Jeff has been selling legit parts for a long time.

Thank you. My car is 06B and I currently have an 0A21 distributor, which is too early in my book. I thought I'd reach out to see if anyone had gotten to the point of, "why the hell am I holding on to this"

You did say it was a June car. I missed that. You would be best with an 0C at the earliest. They ran these in batches and from what I have seen the December '69 batch was the biggest as they were preparing for production. That's why they are seen so late in the production of cars. Not the best FIFO back then. Good luck on the search. I'll keep my eyes open. They are getting hard to find and the restamps are everywhere. I have an original unstamped one with the right vacuum advance and shaft and was offered 500 for it from a restamper.
