    Ed,
To me it looks like you only have one pair of 9806040 wiper arms. The 2 wiper arms with the bend about 1 1/2" from the end look like the 70 Camaro wiper arms, GM # 9806040, as the left side and right side are identical. What are the 2 straight wiper arms from?

So if all the arms are the same in the way they attach to the splined part , then you just need the right length and bend/angle and then whatever wiper blades will fit, just need to be 17 or 18 inches , or something, and then they will function. Right??

Bingo! The length and the angle bend are basically the difference.
My 9806040 Camaro wiper arm measures about 15 1/4" overall length, 14" from the tip of the pin on the end to the rivet head at the base. The bend occurs 1 1/2" from the very end with an interior angle of about 160 degrees. Attached in the photo on the left is a NOS 68-72 Chevelle L/S wiper arm, GM # 3913611, that I found on the web which is very similar to my 70 Camaro wiper arm, GM # 9806040 (photo on right). I don't know the length of the Chevelle wiper arm but the bend looks to be further away, maybe 2" or so, then the Camaro wiper arm.

There you go, all the information and dimensions you need to make a set of wiper arms , to work on your car, and then you can use whatever blades fit the attachment point.

I just added photos comparing a NOS 68-72 Chevelle L/S wiper arm to my 70 Camaro wiper (used on L/S and R/S). Both are for non-depressed wipers.

Think I may look around a little bit and see what I can find that may work. Had another member send me a message about using two passenger side arms from a later year with concealed wipers. Supposed to send me some pics. I could even choose black then if I want. Thanks for all the info. Very enlightening and I believe others could benefit from it in the future. I'll update when I get something.

Here you go sorry for the mess i am in the middle of color sanding and working midnights. From what i can tell the arms do not have a bend in them allowing you to set them straight in the park position just so happens mine straight in park end up under the hood. it is a close fit on the pass. side. again sorry for the mess got the picks right before i left for work no time to clean up. The arms are 2 pass side off (78) plastic bumper camaro's.

IMO, the passenger side 70 Camaro concealed black wiper arm (GM 9806042) may not work so well as it slightly longer and is straight but that is what you can decide. Attached is a photo comparing the black 9806042 wiper arm to the 70 Camaro gray non-concealed wiper arm (GM 9806040).

Thanks for both replies. Love to see more pics of your car when finished.
