I’ve seen a few others with gout the Delco stamp or where the stamp was very faint. Does it have the correct code on the top tab and is the date code there also? I’ve not seen any aftermarket boosters with the tab stamps.

0426 on one side, and date stamp on the other.

Typically Delco Moraine is stamped upside down as well.

In my opinion it is a legit original. The 0426 is correct. Mine too was very faint. Here is what it looked like just prior to replating:

Once it was replated it totally disappeared.
