I have a NOS GM # 1994177 wiper switch (marked "177") which is listed for 1975 models with Special Wipers and 1976-1977 models (exc. recess park)(exc. pulse wiper) in my 2 different Chevrolet Parts Catalogs.
My June 1980 catalog lists GM # 14001501 for 1979-1980 models (exc. pulse wiper) and GM # 14001502 for 1979 models w/pulse wiper. I would think that the 14001501 switch might be marked "501" but not positive about that.
I have some used dash clusters in my garage attic. I will see what I have.

Is this what you’re looking for? It’s not perfect, can’t guarantee it works. But it’s yours if you want it.

1980 just swapped this working unit out last month for the delay switch and motor. Not the cleanest but it works.
If Dave cant find one in his attack I'll sell you this one. I would give him 1st dibs on the sale.

The 1979 dash is the change over year. A 75-77 switch won’t fit.
