Started getting slide ons about ad blocking, disable blockers to view mail. OK, have to pay the bills I guess. I go and turn off anything that looks like a blocker, still get the message. So I click on view with ads and the next page works, then I get the message again, and again. I click on view without ads to see what's going on and see they are wanting to charge about $4 a month for mail service. Hate to do without Yahoo mail as our IPS companies come and go around here and it's nice to have a long term mail service. (Firefox browser)

My wife and I use both Yahoo and gmail. We hate the ads and the invasion of privacy, but having the long term mail service is convenient so I guess that's the price we pay. Plus, we never know when we're going to tell our cable provider to shove it, lol.

If you use POP mail and a mail client like Eudora, Thunderbird or the Mac mail client, then you don't have to worry about ads. I started my Yahoo email back in the early 1990's! I never use it. The last time I checked, it was jam packed with junk email.

Eudora is still around? Haven't heard of that in years.

Yahoo was compromised in 2016, you should only be using it for all your junk mail anyways...it's not what it use to be.

Yup, Yahoo has gone down the drain. Never use it again.
