Yellow 81 - Project restarted after 20 years.

    I can not believe that the car has been in jail for 6 months, but finally the guys are making progress, there was some rust cut out near the rear rocker by the lower door, but other wise they spent alot of time on the doors because of dings etc. I don't think people realize how much time it takes to make a car straight and the amount of work, I have a lot of respect for those guys that do it right.

    Nice choice on the blue paint, great story.......it's a good thing you held on to her for all those years.

    Well, its been a year and its painted, decided to not use the anvil hood because it bowed near the fenders, going to use original hood that has a 79 hood scoop. The car has not been water sanded yet. I have to get over the purple hues near florescent lights etc, color changes a lot. I like it best under full sun because the metallic pops on it. Can't wait to get it back, its taking awhile but the work he does looks to be pretty good.

    What size wheels and tires are you running. Looking to buy those wheels and still trying to figure out the right size.

    Looking good! Keep at it. My son and I are just getting started on redoing my 78.
