Trust me, I have given it some serious concideration.
That means I would have to pull the EFI tank, put in the old tank, reinstall the mechanical fuel pump and rebuild the carburetor. But it could all be done in a day :)

Just a regulator for the correct pressure, and the rest would go back to the tank, right? So then just a carb rebuild and the pressure reg ?

It astounds me in this day in age that they can't send you a firmware update that you can do yourself. Flashing the ECM can't be that darn hard, and should be easier than ever and should be using interfaces like USB to communicate with the hardware to your PC. And 4-6 weeks on a wait for them to update it?

I spent most of last night reading through Holley's forum for any way to fix the problem myself. I found 30 pages of questions on the same problem I'm having and it didn't take me 30 pages to figure out that I now have a paper weight to which there is no fixing. I take that back, it can probably be fixed, but I now have absolutely no confidence in unit to not leave me stranded somewhere.

I'm pretty sure I will be pulling it off the car and putting the carb back on. I guess it's only money

That would be the least amount of work, so now I just need to research which pressure regulator to use that will allow me to use my return line and keep a good steady pressure for the carb, and a carb rebuild kit.

    Anyone got any recommendations ?

EFI pump is putting out around 60 psi and I will need to get it regulated down to between 4.5 - 9 psi. It needs to have a return fuel outlet and I would like it to have a gauge port for the carburetor output line.

Man, that stinks about the Sniper issues. Wonder if the throttle body will work with a Megasquirt or some other stand alone and toss that Sniper ECU to the curb? I mentioned the Megasquirt because that is what I'm running on my camaro with the TPI manifold and throttle body.

Thanks John, I'll look into the megasquirt.
